This blog shares practical lessons from delivering digital projects, running Healthcare PMOs, and researching what really drives transformation in health and care.

It’s written for people managing or moving into digital health projects, offering honest advice, tools and support based on real experience.

Unlike most project blogs, it also tackles the hidden challenges, from navigating politics to building your career in complex systems.

My Story

I’m Isaac, an electronic engineer by profession, with an MBA and over a decade of experience in NHS project delivery, digital transformation, and PMO leadership.

Over the years, I’ve led complex healthcare projects, set up PMOs, and now lead a major NHS trust as Head of PMO while also carrying out doctoral research into virtual care. I’ve worked across strategy, operations, and delivery, and I know the realities of managing change in large systems.

I started this blog to share what I’ve learned along the way: the wins, the setbacks, and the lessons no one puts in a textbook.

My aim is to support others working in or moving into digital health projects, with practical advice, tools, and a bit of honesty about what it’s really like.
